Devonport
is a lovely area of greater Auckland. The town is a traditional
historic seaside village overflowing in charm, not to
mention things to do. The peninsular location gives the
area terrific views of Auckland City and the surrounding
Waitemata Harbour.
Devonport offers plenty in the form of entertainment.
Restaurants, cafes, museums, galleries, the cinema, beaches
and historic walks are all worthwhile attractions and
easily accessible from the Cottage.
Devonport's beaches are some of the finest in the
area, and are definitely the perfect place to spend
an afternoon in the sun. For
those with more active aspirations, they may wish
to have a round of golf at the fabulous Waitemata
Golf Club which is only a short journey away. |
